Quick Fuel Vergaser kalibrieren
#4

Hi FV-8, it is not always easy to know the right jetting for all set ups. There is alot to take into account like size of engine, how much PS it makes, how heavy the car is, if it has a auto or manaul trans, if it's used for racing or street so on and so on.

If it is only lean at idle then you need to make the fuel idle set screw bigger, this is what is circled in the picture below.

Most of the time they are from .029 to .035 (thousands inch) for small blocks, if you want it to idle richer then find out how big they are with a pin guage then go .002 bigger at a time.

If you are going to change the main jets then remember that thay are not number in hole size, the chart below will help so you know how much you are changing it. So if you go from a #72 to #73 Holley jet then you are changing it .0035, but a #73 to #74 is only .001 I hope this helps.

The air correctors will help but only for fine tuning the outer four are for idle, the middle four are for the mains and changes should be made when you have it close with the jetting.
