@Andrea I assume that you have lost my telephone number otherwise you would have called me for a explanation rather than starting unecessary discussions in internet For over THIRTY years we at HARA and now MSTO have always tried to hold a Drag Event on 4 July if it was a year where 4 July falls on a weekend. Well if you will look at your calander the 4th falls on a Friday in 2008 and this gives us again after 3 year waiting the chance to race on 4 July again. I am sure that I do not need to explaine to you the meeting of 4 July for a PATRIOT like myself.. I can also assure you that we at the DMSB FA have always tried to keep 14 days between drag events in the past years but it did not work in 2007. We will push this practice for 2008 keeping Wittstock,Drachten,Vandal and Trutman in mind and hope this will give all racers a better chance to plan their season.
