here are the rules for King of Gemany
Proceeding:
As a participant of King of Germany (KOG) your vehicle will be technically inspected. There are special conditions for participation that are supposed to make the event fair and save. Please read these conditions carefully.
Registration:
Registration is ONLINE only until 15.05.2010. Late applications may not be considered. A notification on the event is not possible! The entry fee of 50 € is payable with the application. To this end, the participant will receive a confirmation and a receipt with the bank account of the organizer.
Subsequent competitions will be extended as part of the KING OF GERMANY 2010:
Stock Street (cars slower than 12 sec)
Street FWD (front wheel drive faster than 12 sec)
Street RWD (rear wheel drive faster than 12 sec)
Street 4WD (all wheel faster than 12 sec)
Per class receives the grand prize of 1000 € in cash + a big cup and the title KING OF GERMANY.
The following documents are brought to the race:
- Valid drivers license
- Valid registration documents
- Valid license card
- Valid insurance
Before you can participate in the race, is the technical acceptance.
Vehicle:
Your car must have a street license.
Exhaust:
Must be securely mounted without risk of fire.
Tires:
Street legal, D.O.T. approved treated tires (at least 8mm deep), front and rear. Worn out tires or slicks are not allowed.
Rims:
All rims must be securely mounted. No missing nuts allowed. Valve caps must be removed before racing.
Hoses:
All fuel, oil, brake hoses, etc. Must be securely mounted and free of leaks.
Radiator:
Radiator overflow catch tank required on all vehicle.
Driver:
You have to have a valid drivers license. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not allowed. Drugs and alcohol tests could be used. Wear proper clothes: no shorts, tank tops, bare torsos.
Helmet:
Required in every vehicle. Helmet must be CE approved.
Seats:
Must be securely fastened to floor or frame with at least 4 attaching bolts and nuts.
Seat belts:
All vehicles must have at least an OEM type lap belt system. Additional seat belts must be CE or FIA approved.
Batteries:
Batteries must be secured per OEM standard. At least mounted with nuts, bolts, screws, etc. No bungee straps, cords, etc.
Objects in the vehicle:
All you won’t need during the race, must be removed. Spare tires, jacks etc. must be securely fastened. No bags, loose speakers, tools in the car. So if you don’t need it, leave it at the drivers camp.
Nitrous Oxide (NOS)
The bottles have the D.O.T. Standard match and be so labeled. You must be securely fastened with metal hangers (no tapes, ropes et. Be). All fittings, hoses, etc. must fit, be tight and be moved by vehicle to the outside.
Fuels:
All fuels are allowed. "Octane boosters are allowed.
Roll bares/ cages:
Roll bares required in every vehicle faster than 9.99s/ ¼ mile. Roll bar/ cage structures must meet minimum NHRA standards as found in 1994 NHRA book of rules.
Wheelie bars:
Wheelie bars are in full competition is not allowed.
Lights and others:
Your vehicle must have working headlights, turn signals, horn, stop lights and wipers.
Launch vehicle:
The car can be started up without assistance, which means no external batteries and starters. The Pitcrew may at any time a launch attempt of Vorstartbereich to ask at the start line.
Alterations to the vehicle:
Any modifications to the car after the technical inspection (except tire changes), which go with the above rules do not conform lead to immediate disqualification. Should be needed to continue to participate during the race technical modifications, these modifications are immediately display in the technical commissars. This then lead through a new technical acceptance.
Leakage of fluids:
Any leakage of fluids during training are punished with a return to the paddock. Fluid loss during the prestart of the race (starting only the path of the vehicle) until the start result in the immediate dis disqualification. "Intercooler spraying with water or other liquid is forbidden. NOS as a cooling of the intercooler is allowed.
Protest:
Any protest must be reported to the responsible stewards. The ticket will cost € 200. If granted the protest, the protest leaders get the money back. If the protest is not upheld, the protest fee goes into the pot of prize money.
