Ok I am going to add some of my steam to this subject and I am doing it in English as even though I have lived in Germany for over 36 years,I am to stupid to have learned how to write in German. X(
I am even to stupid to be a computer freak and will more than likely screw this answer to those of you who can only see negitive in all the efforts I and the members of MSTO invest throuhout the year and I do not mean just during the race season.
I am even so stupid that I lay awake in bed at night 90% of the time and worry about how and what I can do to help the sport of Drag Racing stay alive in Germany. ;(
My boss (And by the way,I have to apply for Urlaub also) is so stupid that he closes his eyes to the fact that I am on the road on the average of 100 days per year working for the sport of Drag Racing and spend thousands of hours on the company telephone trying to make arrangements for Drag Racing .
Yes FISH I do remember the Powerfest 2003 and I have over 3,900 euros out of my pocket because I tried to make it happen.That is 3,900 that I would again invest if it would get all us Drag Racers more events and track time ?(
When I think about the 35 years of my life that I have invested in trying my best to do the right thing for our sport,and when I think about some of the Bull Shit that a few of my so called friends have the balls to write about in this forum,then I really think the efforts must have been for the CAT..
Then I think about the many real friends that I have made through my efforts,the many loyal drag racers who are in the sport to enjoy it and not to become a SUPER STAR ,the fun that some of us racers still have even though some WOULD BE SUPER STARS do everything in their DREAM WORLD to discourage and run down our efforts..And I decide that there are Ass Holes all over the world so I will have to live with it and go on,or I have to throw in the towel and get out...
Well I am not going to get out
and I am going to continue to work with my Patriot Team and my frieds in the MSTO and we will continue to conduct a few Drag Events each year,we will continue to work our ass off,blow sugar up the ass of prospective sponsors,travel all over Europe trying to get other Promotors to work closer with us here in Germany and if need be get down on our knees to help keep our sport alive.
Some of you KNOW It All,s and CAN DO IT BETTER drivers,and WHY NOT OUR WAY SUPER STARS,(I have seen hundreds over the past 34 years) need to open your eyes to the fact that there are not plenty of Money Peopel out there willing to invest thousands and thousands of Euro in sponsoring Drag Race events and when I luck into one,then he calls the plays and I and many loyal drivers have to dance to his music or we dont dance at all.
We the MSTO are offering all Drag Race drivers a place to race on dates that there are no other events in Europe. We will be happy if you come to our events and we will TREAT YOU IN THE SAME PROFESSIONAL MANNER that we have over the years. If you decide that our thing is not your thing,then we will have to accept it and go on with the show.
