Smart is an automotive brand which is originally founded as a joint–venture of Swatch and the Mercedes-Benz producer Daimler-Benz AG. The representative of this brand Smart Fortwo is a rear-engined two seater micro car was first exhibited at the Paris Motor Show in 1998. It was first generation product of Smart referred as Smart city coupe and in this year it has brought second generation with an all electric concept, the fortwo ed.
The Smart ForTwo introduces a automated manual transmission system where no existence of clutch pedal , and it is 6 – speed for the first generation and 5 – speed for the second generation.
