I was looking at my picture's yesterday and found one where I was racing next to your father.
This picture was taken in April 1980 and it was at my first ever race, in fact this is the first time I ever went down the track and your father was in the other lane.

How many racer's can remember who was in the other lane when they first went down the 1/4 mile ?
Somewhere I still have my handwritten timeslip from my first race.
