Another magazine ploy to get people to buy parts they don't need for their performance levels. Many bracket racers have done A-B-A testing and found no E.T. gained by going to an X-pipe from a H-pipe other than a lighter wallet.
Good for NASCAR though where the motors cruise at 8500 rpm, but those motors are tuned to a specific power band in the RPM range.
