hi tony thanks for the reply
my oppinion is that the nhara is drifting away from th grass roots racers
in favor for the pro classes
i can understand that because the nhra is nothing more than a big company
they do have to sell tickets get sponsors and so on for making a living
and with the sportsmann racer there is no or very little buisness involved because nobody out of the 120000 crowd wants to see them
they come and pay for the pro classes
and the only reason they dont kick out the sportsman classes at once is there ares till too many involved in racing and too many are paying the fees for the nhra
i spoke with several friends i have in the usa and they all said the same ( they all used to race super classes in the nhra format ) they swithed over to the nmca nmra and so on they dont wanted to be jerked around any longer
the nhra will squeeze them out of the back door
just my two cents
