Here are some pictures taken on the same day and also the same run as your pictures Bel Air, it was May 83 and the first race that year in Erlensee. I had a friend rebuild my motor for the GT, a 355 small bolck Chevy he purchased all the parts and did all the work. Some how the wrong piston rings were purchased and insulted on the pistons. As you can see from the one picture with all the smoke which is oil smoke not rubber from the slicks. Tony Morris
