In the four round of qualifying Saturday at the Lucas Oil NHRA SuperNationals, Funny Car driver Scott Kalitta, 46, loss his life after his funny car went out of control and crashed in the fourth and final round of qualifying Saturday at the Lucas Oil NHRA SuperNationals.

Tragisch !
Ein Unglück kommt selten allein sagt man - erst im Mai der Crash einer Kalitta Air Cargo 747 in Brüssel und jetzt dieser noch schwerere Schlag für die Familie !

Gestern hatte Pro7 mal 10Sek. ihrer kostbaren Sendezeit übrig um denn Unfall zu zeigen, ich finde es tragisch dass die deutschen Medien nur solche Bilder unseres Sport zeigen können, das hat Scott Kalitta nicht verdient!
Der Sender ESPN hat einen sehr einfühlsamen Bericht über ihn und seine Karriere als Fahrer gebracht.
Es ist sehr traurig das die amerikanische Drag Racing Gemeinde wieder so einen tollen Sportler verloren hat. RIP Scott Kalitta.
