Hi History Fans !
Or was it the "Hemi Hunter", because Russ was chasin´the BIG KB Hemis ?
There was a Dragster with that name, but I´m not sure if it was the one from Russ.
Legend has it that, when Daimler ceased to build these almost undestroyable cast iron beauties,
Russ went along and bought all (17??) he could get !!
And by the way..........cool pic, not only for the car.............. !
Hey, look at the guy in the foreground with his Peter Kruse T-Shirt,
the perfectly matched 8o WHITE sox and the very modern, state-of-the-future-art compact cell phone, heh heh.

Hemi Hunter wurde von Allan Herridge gebaut und gefahren und später von The Stones Racing Team und Gerry Andrews.

Das war mitte der 70er bis anfang der 80er soweit ich weis.

Endlich habe ich es geschafft eine Vielzahl der Bilder die ich in diesem Thread eingestellt hatte, durch bessere Qualität auszutauschen. Also wer zurück scrollen möchte findet jetzt wesentlich bessere Bilder als die die ich ursprünglich reingestellt hatte.
