Hi Drag Racers and Race Fans, if all works well this will be my first Photo I have put on the forum. Have you decided where you want the history to be put yet?, I haven't seen to much going on lately and now I have a scaner I can added a little to the history on drag racing in Germany. Who can tell me where this was taken what year and who is the drive, and that person should not say it me it me OK.

I think this could be Gerd Habermann in Erlensee ???
And if it really is Gerd´s Dragster, this piece of history
was (is?) up for grabs at ebay, there is a Thread to it in the Forum.
Now equipped with a Volvo 4, and still looking good.

Ja Benni das ist richtig das war ich mit meinem 4 Zylinder Volvodragster im Fliegerhorst Erlensee um 1982.
Der Dragster ist letzte Woche bei ebay für 3.121 € versteigert worden.
Mal sehn ob er wieder auf der Strecke auftaucht!!!

At which track and what year?, the drive on the right is American and the drive on the left is Germany Who were they?

it is austria - zeltweg, today it is called A1 ring. left lane - blue camaro - mike freigang from babenhausen.

.............I think it is Bill Hales withe the green/yellow Camaro
of the "Dragon" Race Team.
Mike is no longer active, Bill is still withe the "Dragon2000" Team,
as a mechanic with Fredy Daud, who is running the Dodge Ram Pickup.
wich was formerly driven by swiss racer Schumacher.

Hi guys, yes its Austria in 1990 I belive that my friend Rolf Nohl had purchased the Camaro from Mike and has now sold it on, this used to be one of my favorite tracks, just a great track to be at and race.
Here is a picture of Rolf Nohl in Giebelstadt testing the beast for the first time. What year is it ?

my guess would be the early 80s - 1984 or 1985.
