Strecke: super Gummi, gut geklebt, aber scheint mir etwas schmal für Pro Mod
Elimination 16er Feld, am Sonntag Nachmittag wegen Regen keine Finale
Bei den Quali-Runs noch im unteren Drittel gegenüber den Schweden die die schmale Strecke schon kannten, fuhr Norbert einen eindrucksvollen ersten Eliminations-Run... super Reaktionszeit, die Nase vorne bei der 60-ft Marke und sogar noch kurz vor der Ziellinie.
Kurz: Mit gerissenem Kompressorriemen 4,35 knapp vor dem Ziel von dem Gegner mit 4,19 überholt. Sehr gute Leistung, trotz aller Umstände.

14th June: Switzerland's Bruno Bader is ready to take his first steps in Pro Mod after a long period of work, says team member Ute Friesch. "We waited for special parts from the USA and spent many hours on the 524 BAE engine, but now that is done", says Ute. "We are now doing the final work on the engine, Lenco and data control and then the season finally starts."
Bruno, daughter and Junior Dragster racer Yvonne, Andy Buehler and Arndt and Ute Friesch will be taking the Golden Vette to Turtmann in Switzerland to test on 22nd-24th July and will then head to Sweden for the Veidec Nitro Festival the following weekend. "If everything works fine, then we will also attend the European Finals at Santa Pod", says Ute. "Yvonne is spending her last year in Junior Dragster and will also be racing at every event we attend."
